Artist Spotlight: Deepandhu Ruhela

Deepanshu Ruhela is an Indian DJ that has always been interested in music since a little kid mostly with how all of the different sounds worked. He started creating his own music in 2015 with an app called Music Maker on his Android he did that for three years and in 2018 he created his first track called “Too Much” as well as performing as a DJ for the first time. Currently, he has made over 200 tracks and has worked with major companies such as Sony Music, Saragama, and Univeral Music. Deepanshu Ruhela's inspirations for his music mostly come from when he was a kid listening to Punjabi Pop Music and artists like Diljit Dosanjh, Amrinder Gill, and Sukhbir. Then around the 2010s he started listening to more international music and gained some inspiration from Justin Bieber, Usher, Akon, and Eminem. On one of his most popular tracks “Lucknow” he wanted to shed light on his home state capital Lucknow so he linked up with two other amazing artists from Lucknow in Promocode and Abhinav. They all had the idea to make an anthem for Lucknow and created an amazing track. One of his most precious achievement for Deepanshu Ruhela was when he worked with Sony Music in 2021 he was given the opportunity to create a lowfi remix of the popular Hindi track “Dil Ibaadat” by K.K and after that, he worked with Sony on more tracks. Deepanshu Ruhela is working on numerous tracks for 2023 and his most recent release is “Dekhne Walon Ne - Lowfi Flip” with Alka Yagnik and Udit Narayan. Deepanshu Ruhela is also hoping to play multiple shows all across India as well as starting up his content creation like making tutorials and shorts about his music. Deepanshu Ruhela would love to thank Musical Corner for the interview as well as anyone that listens to his music.
