Artist Spotlight: Swiper Dan

 




Swiper Dan is a very talented artist from St. Vincent in the Caribbean. He got the name Swiper Dan from him stealing from his grandfather and his grandfather responded “ He is a swiper and everyone started calling him Swiper. In all of the music that Swiper Dan puts out, he tries to add a little bit of Caribbean flair to his music because that is all that he knows and he wants to represent St. Vincent in the rap industry. Swiper Dan got interested in making music for a living because of his mother and when times got tough growing up for Swiper Dan music he wanted to make a living creating music to help out and gain some income for his family. I asked Swiper Dan what inspired him musically and his answer really struck me. He said that he gets inspired by himself more than anyone else. He inspires himself to push forward and to live a life that he never had. He also said that he had a friend that helped him along the way to keep himself on track. Swiper Dan would love to thank his production team, McQueen, and himself as well as anyone that listens to his music and helped him achieve his dream.

Unknown. is an American rapper from Miami, Florida, he started rapping by freestyling for fun when he was around 12 to 13 years old. Once a video of him freestyling started circulating the school Unknown. started to take music and rapping more seriously. He released his first song in the summer of 9th grade and after that, he kept on releasing music but did not feel that the music he was releasing was truly him. In 2021 Unknown. started releasing more music and made it a goal of his to make music that people could enjoy as well as music he could enjoy listening to himself. Artist Spotlight: Kingpvz

Kingpvz is a Slovak Hardbass producer and is starting to add other elements to his music besides Hardbass. Some Hardbass artists that Kingpvz would like to credit with inspiring him to create music in the Hardbass genre are Alan Aztec, DJ Blyatman, HBKN, and Uamee. One of Kingpvz's biggest achievements was when Uamee commented on one of his songs that he made. Kingpvz has always been interested in music since he was a small child. His mom signed him up for a music theory class in the 2nd grade as well as signing him up for piano lessons. He played the piano for six years, winning many competitions and concerts. After his 6th year of playing the piano, he got annoyed by it and quit playing it for many years.
