Artist Spotlight: MOC

MOC known as Mistake Of Color is an American Rapper who got started in the music industry through his brother Donnie Letterman. MOC had been writing for a little bit before his brother told him about a writing game called “16 Bars” that his brother would play with his friends. Once MOC played the game he was hooked and everything clicked. Once everything clicked he found success surpassing 100k streams on his song “Ricch Like Roddy” as well as performing on top of a ledge during a show in September last year. One of MOC's songs that has a deep meaning behind is called “Other Half”. This song was made to express that feeling of finding your soulmate or in the way MOC would put it your “Other Half”. His biggest inspirations for his work are Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, Logic, Aaron May, and Lecrae. MOC is planning on performing live all across the DMV area as well as trying to take over the underground and blend right in between obscurity and mainstream. MOC would love to take this time to thank his brother, his family, and the Divine Creator Above. He would also like to thank himself for sticking through all the bullshit and fake shit that comes along this journey.
