Artist Spotlight: Pedro Young


Pedro Young is a Canadian rapper that started in the music industry actually through a joke he made a fake cover of a song in 9th grade to mess around with his friends and then he would dabble with type beats which eventually led to him falling in love with music. His love of music stemmed from the feeling of creating his own art. Some of the biggest influencers on his music are Drake, Travis Scott, and Kendrick Lamar. In his song “Ball Out” Pedro was talking about how he is pushing forward by being himself to get where he wants to be financial. The story of how the song came to be was when Pedro Young got fucked over by some of his friends made him feel like he was alone on his journey so all he wanted to do was ball out. Pedro Young still thinks there is a lot to learn and a long way to go in his already impressive career but his most significant achievement would be when he hit 10k streams on his music. In 2023 Pedro Young plans on his biggest and most consistent year yet experimenting with sounds. Pedro Young would like to thank all of the type beat producers for doing their thing and holding down small artists without them we wouldn’t be able to do music.

Unknown. is an American rapper from Miami, Florida, he started rapping by freestyling for fun when he was around 12 to 13 years old. Once a video of him freestyling started circulating the school Unknown. started to take music and rapping more seriously. He released his first song in the summer of 9th grade and after that, he kept on releasing music but did not feel that the music he was releasing was truly him. In 2021 Unknown. started releasing more music and made it a goal of his to make music that people could enjoy as well as music he could enjoy listening to himself. Artist Spotlight: Kingpvz

Kingpvz is a Slovak Hardbass producer and is starting to add other elements to his music besides Hardbass. Some Hardbass artists that Kingpvz would like to credit with inspiring him to create music in the Hardbass genre are Alan Aztec, DJ Blyatman, HBKN, and Uamee. One of Kingpvz's biggest achievements was when Uamee commented on one of his songs that he made. Kingpvz has always been interested in music since he was a small child. His mom signed him up for a music theory class in the 2nd grade as well as signing him up for piano lessons. He played the piano for six years, winning many competitions and concerts. After his 6th year of playing the piano, he got annoyed by it and quit playing it for many years.
