Shredx is an Indian rapper from Kolkata, India. He never thought that he would ever become a musician because he wanted to be an actor but always loved to sing and the creative part of making music. Shredx started by playing his guitar and freestyling random words to create a song. This process evolved into him singing over beats. He decided that the rap life was crazier than the acting business but he went to school for engineering instead of starting his rap career until his ex broke up with him the heartbreak was a life-changing moment for him and he left everything to start his rap career. Some of his biggest musical inspirations that influence the music Shredx creates are A.R Rahman, J. Cole, Pink Floyd, Kendrick Lamar, Elvis Presley, Eminem, Joyner Lucas, and Bloodymare. He listens to music from different genres and adapts the best elements to his own sound. In his opinion, the biggest achievement in his career so far was when he got the chance to work with one of his favorite artists or when his parents were proud of him for getting his name printed in the newspaper and his name said on TV to a huge audience. In 2023 Shredx wants to promise consistency to his listeners. He wants to level up himself in 2023 and create a new genre of HipHop adding elements of theater to his songs as well as keeping with his dark energy of rap in 2023.
