Artist Spotlight: A.F



A.F  is a rapper from Lisbon, Portugal but currently resides in Glasgow, Scotland. Living in both Portugal and Scotland has impacted his music because while he was living in Portugal many of his peers were DJs and artists who were trying to make it in the music industry so he was able to fall in love with music but once he moved to Scotland he saw how different the music scene was in the UK. He fell in love with the Grime era of rap in the UK taking influence from Skepta, JME, and AJ Tracey. He chose his Name A.F because of his name being Afonso he just used the first two letters to make A.F. He started rapping once he saw the Michael Daapah parody character “ Big Shaq” and wanted to do the same thing of comedy rap. After he showed a few of his friends he made he posted them on SoundCloud, after that he fell in love with the process of writing and going to the studio to make music he decided to take it more seriously. According to A.F his most significant accomplishment in his young career would be his music video for his new song “ For Sure” he felt that it was the highest quality of work he has delivered so far in his career. He would say that doing a live performance for the first time would also be a big accomplishment in his career as well. In 2023 A.F promises that he will be dropping music on a constant basis and bring something to the table for all his fans every month of 2023. Unknown. is an American rapper from Miami, Florida, he started rapping by freestyling for fun when he was around 12 to 13 years old. Once a video of him freestyling started circulating the school Unknown. started to take music and rapping more seriously. He released his first song in the summer of 9th grade and after that, he kept on releasing music but did not feel that the music he was releasing was truly him. Artist Spotlight: Kingpvz

Kingpvz is a Slovak Hardbass producer and is starting to add other elements to his music besides Hardbass. Some Hardbass artists that Kingpvz would like to credit with inspiring him to create music in the Hardbass genre are Alan Aztec, DJ Blyatman, HBKN, and Uamee. One of Kingpvz's biggest achievements was when Uamee commented on one of his songs that he made. Kingpvz has always been interested in music since he was a small child. His mom signed him up for a music theory class in the 2nd grade as well as signing him up for piano lessons. He played the piano for six years, winning many competitions and concerts. After his 6th year of playing the piano, he got annoyed by it and quit playing it for many years.
