Artist Spotlight: Ancira
Ancira is an American heavy metal band in Southern California. Each member of the band go their start in different bands all throughout their teenage years but eventually, they found each other and started making music as their own band. Some of the bands that influenced their career and music were A Day To Remember, Four Year Strong, Bad Omens, Pierce The Veil, and Beartooth. Their biggest song to date called “Hysteria” is a story about COVID and the difficult life changes the lead singer had to deal with as well as coping with childhood trauma through unhealthy ways. COVID allowed him to block out the noise of the world and allowed him to focus on internal battles. Another one of their amazing songs is called “Burn This City” The theme of that song is about dealing with a toxic individual in your own household.
